Jennifer Landolfi , DVM, PhD, DACVP
Dr. Landolfi is a board certified veterinary pathologist (Diplomate ACVP, 2006). Dr. Landolfi has a DVM from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (2003), and a PhD in Pathobiology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (2013). Dr. Landolfi has provided diagnostic pathology support for the University of Illinois Zoological Pathology Program (ZPP) as a clinical assistant professor since 2007. Dr. Landolfi’s research is focused on the immunopathogenesis of Mycobacterium spp. infections in elephants. Her studies utilize molecular techniques to characterize immune responses in elephants to elucidate host contributions to disease and explain susceptibility.
